What to Expect

Expert care for your unique needs

WORKNET Occupational Medicine will guide you through the first visit and introduce you to the occupational medicine process. Upon arrival at our center, a patient service specialist will greet you, ask you to enter your name/arrival time in our patient log and our answer any questions may have.

After an introductory conversation about your visit, you will complete a registration form and any other documentation required for your visit. Please bring written authorization from your employer or potential employer. This will ensure that your service is completed exactly as your employer requests.

Plan on arriving 15 minutes early to complete the required paperwork. Wait times vary and depend on the nature of your visit. Scheduled patients and acute injuries always take priority.

When meeting with our medical provider, we encourage you to ask any questions related to your visit. For injury-related visits, you will leave with a copy of your work status report outlining your diagnosis and any work-related restrictions.

If your visit is related to an employment physical, you will know the status of your work clearance before leaving our center. In most cases, we will report your work status to your employer within 24 hours.
